Bean Planting

The mothers in our program have been coming on a regular basis to work in the field these days, as we’re close to harvesting the corn and we’re planting beans at the base of each corn stalk, as they do here in Magdalena. Some of their kids have come to do their homework while their moms work. It’s been good to welcome people back on the property after all of the months of lockdown here in Guatemala, even for just a few hours each week!
