Independence Day

This past Tuesday was Independence Day here in Guatemala! This year looked very different in the COVID world- no parades, no fireworks, no big parties, and most people just stayed home. The ladies came to work in the field the day after, and we decided to have an impromptu belated Independence Day lunch after they finished work! Everyone pitched in some food and we had a nice time enjoying each other’s company again. It was great to be with a few of the families, and we’re looking forward to the day where all of the mothers and their kids can be present at PFH once again!
