Fidelity & Friends 2024

Season's Greetings from Guatemala! Over the past several years, Fidelity and Friends have made a significant impact on the single mothers and widows we serve at Project For Hope. Our initiatives include the launch of Esperanza Handmade, which trains women living in poverty to create beautiful handmade leather goods, as well as programs focused on education and agriculture. In 2023, Fidelity and Friends generously donated $7,289 towards a new project involving laying hens! Thanks to your support, Erika and Sandra, who are featured in the video above, have worked full-time in 2024. We are currently producing and selling an average of 600 eggs daily.

Recently, a volunteer group helped us construct a new chicken house, which is now ready for new chickens. Our goal is to add at least 400 new chickens along with start-up feed in January 2025. This expansion will allow us to provide for at least one new single mother in desperate need of work to support her family and enable us to include all three in the social security system here in Guatemala, which offers healthcare and retirement benefits. The total project cost is $6,000. Thank you for your continued generosity! As always, 100% of your donation goes directly toward supporting this initiative.
