Graduation 2020

This month, after years of hard work, two of the ladies in our program graduated from high school! Senior year is the most difficult year in Guatemala, as there are usually months of internship and presentations in front of dozens of people and large research projects. Now place all of those things in the context of 2020 quarantine and virtual learning, and these ladies had quite the challenge on their hands!

Due to covid restrictions, there was no formal graduation ceremony so we threw them a small party on the PFH property! We’re so proud of all they’ve accomplished and we’re grateful for these fruits that we’ve been able to see in a year where everything turned upside down.
